I cant say for certain, as I havent had my AirArms apart in over a year, but they use a Teflon (or similar) washer in that spot. Finding the correct thickness might be a bit hard though.
Possibly a harder 0-ring that resists deformation better?
It does appear the machining is off a little. Surprised there isn’t a raised lip so the 0-ring cannot enter the port.
